Intergenerational contract : The law is now applicable :

  • If your company has at least 300 employees, you have until September 30th, 2013 to negotiate and enter into force a collective agreement or an action plan (upon financial sanctions).
  • If your company has between 50 and 300 employees, and if it is covered by a collective agreement (or covered by an inter-professional collective agreement with “intergenerational contract” provisions) or by an action plan, it is entitled to government benefits assistance. For your information, this government benefit amounts to 4,000 euros per year and per young/senior tandem.
  • If your company has less than 50 employees, it is also eligible to governments benefit but it does not need to conclude a collective agreement or an action plan. Make sure to file for the government benefit before June 16, 2013 for hiring(s) made between January 1, 2013 and March 1, 2013.
